Fiscalsponsordirectory.org is produced and maintained by San Francisco Study Center Inc., a 501(c)(3) since 1972 and a fiscal sponsor since 1975. Study Center is a member of the National Network of Fiscal Sponsors, which is engaged in professionalizing the field, providing assistance to sponsors and projects alike to improve financial management and spark organizational development throughout the nonprofit sector.

Cultural Survival (CS) provides empowerment tools that support indigenous efforts to effectively resist cultural degradation and threats to their habitat and sovereignty. CS is currently sponsoring projects initiated by indigenous peoples who seek to obtain land rights, protect and manage their natural resources, market sustainable products, preserve their language and art forms, etc.. Furthermore Cultural Survival provides organizational support, administrative support, and acts as a fiscal sponsor to small, independent initiatives that contribute to Cultural Survival's mission.

The Fund for Women Artists offers fiscal sponsorship services to women artists in or near Massachusetts who may be working in other art forms or who may need a short-term affiliation with a non-profit organization.

The Fiscal Sponsorship Program allows US donors to support regional philanthropic capacity in other countries, enabling local women's funds to strengthen and nurture community-based efforts to advance women's rights. Through this program, you may recommend that your gift be awarded to one of the participating women's funds listed below. US regulations require that the Global Fund maintain discretion and control over any funds received; however, you can trust that your recommendation will be honored.

As a human rights organization, MADRE does much more than document and condemn abuses. We work with women who are affected by violations to help them win justice and, ultimately, change the conditions that give rise to human rights abuses. And we challenge US policies that undermine human rights.

The Red Tent Women's Project empowers and educates women by providing a space to facilitate personal growth, information and resource exchange, community building, and leadership development for all women. Offers fiscal sponsorship opportunities for groups and individuals working on projects that empower and educate women.

In accordance with its mission, TWN serves as a fiscal sponsor of independent film and electronic media productions, as well as artistic, educational and cultural projects emphasizing people of color and their concerns. Camera News, Inc. d/b/a Third World Newsreel (TWN) is a non-profit organization as determined by the IRS under code 501(c)3, it is also a registered New York State Charity.

The mission of Visual Communications is to promote intercultural understanding through the creation, presentation, preservation and support of media works by and about Asian Pacific Americans. Film and video producers may apply to Visual Communications for nonprofit sponsorship of their project. To be considered for sponsorship, the applicant must adhere to several criteria, including joining Visual Communications.

Fiscal Sponsorship is the largest component of the Production Assistance Program. Fiscal Sponsorship is designed for women filmmakers who are actively fundraising for their film or video project and need 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt status.
